As a big fan of gaming, I've played many types of genres of games. FPS, RTS, MMORPG, sports, console gaming, MUD, video gaming, arcade. You name it, I've probably played it.

As a player, I believe in gameplay over graphics. Gameplay over hype. Gameplay over sexiness. Nowadays games are becoming more sophisticated and players are becoming more demanding. Once in a while a special game comes along that is simply "cannot be missed".

Enter Elite Beat Agents.



It's a rhythm game and the concept is really simple. It combines great music, superb japanese animation with very simple (yet frustrating) gameplay. You follow the music and tap on the screen using your stylus at certain intervals guided by the beats of songs and funny animation. The overall package is humorous, innovative and yet so simple. The total size of the game is only 122MB. A tiny amount for a giant amount of enjoyment.
