Rejoice

It's been reported in the news that New York will soon introduce new legislation to fine people who listen to their IPods or talking on the mobile phone USD$100 whilst crossing the road. The guy who's trying to introduce this legislation is also going to try ban the use of other gadgets such as Blackberry, PSP and other gadgets.

I think this guy is doing the right thing. I don't advocate banning all gadgets of course but certainly I can understand why he'd like to do such a thing. How many times have you seen some loafer crossing the road in a nonchalant manner whilst a car is speeding towards him at break neck speed! No point beeping him of course because he's playing his MP3 gadget at full volume! Sickening....

Anyway I think Singapore should considering fining those idiots who blatantly play their MP3 players (including phones) at full volume in the MRT and buses to "show off". You know who I'm talking about! Those idiots (mainly teenagers) who think it's cool to disrupt everyone else at their convenience. Those idiots (mainly teenagers) who is blaring their MP3 players without realizing that in most cases the sound quality that's emitted is crap! Fine them!

P.S. Add to the list, those idiots who refuse to answer their phone just to let their MP3 ringtone run!
