Lunch

Being a lecturer does have it perks. Four of us from work had the unique chance to check out the new Barnacles Restaurant at Rasa Sentosa. The restaurant itself was not open for business yet and today we were invited by them to sample their food and restaurant ahead of their official opening (tomorrow)

Because it sits at the tip of Sentosa Island (Siloso Beach), it prides itself as being the only restaurant at the southern most tip of SE Asia (excluding Indonesia). The service was quite good and the staff members were attentive, friendly.

Of course we all came for....

I had fried Whitebait for entree and lamb for main. It looked better than it tasted. The fried whitebait was a bit soft but the lamb was perfect. My other colleagues didn't feel the same way. Their food was not so well put together, dry, tasteless and did not impressed them. Oh and they even had Westlife from Sweden sing! Wow!

My overall verdict?

Well, not quite. They really have to improve the quality of the food. I'd give it a 6/10.
PS Dave, please email me at leest29@gmail.com about the Joost account please. I'd like one, much appreciated. :)
