Exercise

Why are things that are good for you always so difficult to do or attain?

I'm talking about exercise. I'm talking about a healthy weight.

After my recent holiday in Perth where I am sure I had put on some weight so I endeavoured to exercise. Last Thursday, I went for a jog around Sentosa. I'm not sure what was the distance but it felt like from Singapore to Hell. I was sure I could almost see God! Feeling good after, I woke up next morning feeling like s*it. My legs (calf) hurt and I felt a bit sore in many places. "I never knew I had that muscle" type of feeling.

This morning I played basketball. In a valiant attempt to ignore pain, I played. I felt quite good actually. I actually ran, jumped, blocked and scored baskets. The pain actually subsided. Came home, went for a nap and guess what? Pain's back! What to do? No choice but to exercise and eat less.

This will not stop my determination to exercise though. So if you are reading my post and am interested to join me for a job. Please come to Sentosa (you know where) on Tuesday 27th March at 5pm. If you want to come and see a lecturer struggle his way around the island, huffing and puffing, then come. If you want to come and see me in agony, then come. If you want to come and exercise and maybe even lose some weight yourself, then come. If you want to come and take pictures, then DON'T come.

Let's go people! Exercise! Fat people of the world UNITE!

Hey, stumble on your blog on a lazy Sunday afternoon. This give me some opportunity to make up some lost time. You don't look fat at all, but any exercise is good.

Yea.. I agree with Jon. The revival of the "Running Club" sounds great. I'll definitely be interested in going back for a jog. Miss that place. :)
