PHS
When you wake up with a heavy heart, feeling like crap and wishing it was yesterday, you may be suffering from PHS. Post Holiday Syndrome. I know I am.Anyway, here are some highlights from my trip. For those of you who don't know much about Perth, here's some visual ideas that aptly describes Perth.
The environment's perfect. Check out the photo of the city at night and day time. ;
The sky is perfect. Yes, this is the colour of the sky. *sigh*
The beaches are perfect. Sorry, couldn't find any nudist on the beach.
In Australia, most things are huge. A bit like my growing belly and this water bottle for example.
Huge breakfasts were very normal. It was HUGE.
I spent most of my time (sadly) wondering about...
Anyway myself and San went down south and visited Bunbury. We went to and visited the world's longest jetty in the southern hemisphere (about 1.8km). The walk was magic with the wind blowing against us. *sigh* Yup, we walked all the way to the end (as indicated by my thumb) and back!
A visit down south of Western Australia wouldn't be complete without visiting a winery and we did. I had very little idea about wines so with some research, we decided to try Voyager Estate. The restaurnant was award winning so we went. As you can see, the restaurant is quite unique with high roof and solid wood furnishing. The food was unfortunately so-so and was below my expectations but overall it was a great experience.
Lastly, I have put together all the pictures of the most memorably array of food that we had. Click here to check it out.
Warning: Don't salivate!
