Leaving..

Some of you probably know that I will be moving on to another job next month. After 2.5+ years with the school, I was offered an opportunity too good to turn down.

Ever since I started my career in the hospitality industry I had wanted to have a job that allows me to travel, work with hotels and dabble in aspects of IT. I've actually geared my entire career around the hospitality and the IT industry to prepare for such a position. Well, the opportunity finally came to me last December. I took a long time to think about things and after discussing this with San, I decided to take the plunge. Even though I love the school, the students and my peers if I don't do this, I will regret it. The new position will allow me to not only fulfill a dream of mine but also to hopefully enhance my overall career and future prospects.

My new job will entail training hotels around SE Asia with the system that is implemented by my new company and I am excited! I will probably take pictures of hotels every where I go so you guys/gals can see what different hotels look like.

Soon I'll have to give up my Island pass (no more free entries) and re-join the rat race on the main island! I hope to leave on good terms because I do still want to possibly teach again in the future. There are so many memories and I will put that up online somewhere soon.
