Myanmar

I learnt yesterday that my trip to Yangon and Mandalay for recruitment has been approved. It's been more than a year since I last went back to Myanmar to do recruitment. If any of you guys/gals think that this is going to be a holiday, think again!

I'll be leaving on the 7th and reaching Yangon in the afternoon about 3.30pm. There'll be a seminar that evening so I'll busy the minute I touch down. The following day, it's a full day of interviews, chatting and showing of the school. The following day I fly off to Mandalay and it's another seminar. The next day it's interviews and then flying back to Yangon for last round of interviews and tests. By the time I come back on the 12th I hope to bring back at least 30+ candidates for consideration for the next intake. Phew!

The thing is, during this time period, it's really a "peak season" as far as my classes are concerned. Pressentations, website projects and group projects. On Monday because of the make up classes, I'll be starting about 9am and won't end until about 6pm straight! Will have to manage it though. Probably be preparing my presentation on my flight to Yangon. :)

On the flip side, going to Yangon will allow me to once again experience that lovely country and its people. Yummy food. Mmmm.......
