I would like to say a big thank you to all those who posted replies on my previous blog about marketing the next Course Preview. Thank you very very much for your contributions and comments. Remember, you don't have to say anything politically correct!You may not know it but your responses may pave way for a new way of communication from the school to students. Being new to the Education sector, I am exploring new and alternatives ways of communicating with all of you. For those that didn't reply, it's okay. I am glad to have your presence on my little blog.

One last request, Mr Sim would like feedback on the visuals that I attached to the former post. They are mockups. Do you like them? Hate them? Would you be attracted to such a visual? Any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Visuals...you mean those pictures for the Course Preview is it?
Well, I think the first 2 pictures are very "Sentosa" advertisement like. But they are good in portraying us as fun loving people who are sociable and approachable.
Hmm...I do have some suggestions for the Course Preview.
Like what Gavin said, a tour of the campus would be nice, perhaps some of the Service & Culinary Students could come back and showcase what we've learnt.
Also, maybe some light snacks/finger food to be served for reception, cooked by our Culinary Science students.
I definitely wouldn't mind coming back to help as an usher/guide/service staff.

Oh...one more thing, perhaps could have some photos of students doing deployment at the various attractions or at Restaurant In The Square (RITS).

Jonathan : Thanks for your comments and recommendations. We did do a tour of our campus for our last Course Preview and with the help of students. In fact, we also served them light snacks and drinks. We will definitely do it again. Thanks for volunteering, will look out for you when we're closer to the date.
