There's something subliminally satisfying about sleeping late on Saturdays. I really love the peacefulness and quietness that permeates the surroundings after 2am. The world needs more peace like this. Until some idiot with a bike roars past! Idiots. I woke up today and wondered what should I do. *Sigh* My Sundays are very routine. Wake up, eat, play some games, watch TV and then do the usual house chores. Yes, I'm domestically trained! :)
I decided to watch a movie instead and ended up watching Nightwatch. Some say it's so-so, some have raved about it. I thought being the first part of a 3-part trilogy, it sets a promising foundation for the following 2 chapters. Cinematography was very good I thought. Very apocolyptic, dark and stylishly done. A lot of slow-mo, jarred and interesting persectives throughout the whole show. The storyline reminded me of Blade. Don't go in with any pre-conceived ideas and I think you'd enjoy it. 3/5 from me. I wonder if Singapore could ever do such a show! Hmmm...wouldn't that be great.
After that, it was back to ironing, vacuuming and cleaning. Hahah...hmmmm..that's about it for my "eventful" Sunday. Tonight I'll probably be watching some TV, surfing the net and getting ready for work. Exciting! What's yours like?
