Photos Pt II
Part II.
This was a unique dish that I had to share with you all. It's tea leaves soaked in some oil and dressed with peanuts, shallots and sesame seeds! Those who are looking to lose weight, this is apparently it's very healthy. I had one mouthful. Healthy it may be but...not very yummy. Interesting concept but not very happening!
At Karaweik, we decided to put on a show ourselves...
We were looking to earn some change but nobody paid us anything. There were a lot of laughter though. Hah, so guess it's back to the norm....
Around Yangon and many places around Myanmar, there were many temples that looked like...
One of the most famous and biggest, Swedagon Pagoda is located in Myanmar and apparently it's made of solid gold! The entire building! Sorry I tried to take pictures but it was night fall so the pictures turned out badly. You can always do a google search on it. Our group wanted to go and scrap the gold but we missed Singapore and would like to return so we went back to our hotel instead.
On our last night, we went for a massage. I assure you, it was a reputable one. It cost each of us USD$6 for an hour's session of traditional Asian massage (which simply meant the shoulder, legs and arms). This sign was found outside..
Do I need to explain? Despite that, it was excellent value and really felt relaxed after that. That's about all the pictures I have to share. Back to Singapore...

Hi,
Sorry but I really didn't have time to shop. I had a couple of hours to spare BUT it was monsoon season and it was pouring so I couldn't go out.
Next time ok? :) If I buy for everyone, I'll be broke!
I did change it bigger. If you use Firefox, it looks funny. I think it's just blogger. Sometimes erratic.
my firefox is working fine...
f12 resize?
Hey Mr Dillon,
I didn't know you wore spectacles. Say, are those real?
Anyway, are the things in Myanmmar cheap?
Cheers,
Jonathan
Hi Jon,
Of course they'r real! :) Very low power...
Depends on what you're looking for over there, in general, they are cheap. Much cheaper. A glass of natural Mango juice..SGD$0.70. There aren't many places you can get labelled goods though. I saw some Nike shoes going for SGD$60 but I doubt they're real.
