Photos Pt I

Okay...well, here are some pictures and commentaries from my recent trip.

I stayed at the Traders Hotel Yangon. Nice hotel. This was my hotel room. It's nice and comfortable and service was excellent. Being an ex-hotelier I filled out their guest comment cards and the hotel comment cards giving them very high marks. The bed was big, as you can see! Breakfast was included and you can imagine, after 4 days of the same (even though it was buffet), I kinda got tired of it.

The photo on the left was the view out from my window. Very urban and full of old buildings. Some one said it reminded them of Singapore in the 70s.

And down to business.....

It was an education fair and several other Singaporean schools were there. Hah, I tried to look a bit more intellectual by wearing glasses. The lady sitting next to me was my assistant for the exhibition. She was excellent and was very keen on our school! Somebody said I looked weird with my glasses! :)

During the second night, after the conclusion of the exhibition, we went to Karaweik Palace for dinner and a cultural show. It used to be modelled after a giant boat that was for an Ancient King. The place was huge. We went at night so couldn't take many pictures due to the limited capabilities of my cam.

End of part I. I'll be putting up part II shortly, like right now!

If you get WoW, u will lose your social life, lose sleep, lose money, become a zombie. It's great fun though! A bit tedious but when you start, you'll be ver very entertained! Come look for me, I'm in the Doomhammer server and my character is called Psylocke! Hahaha....

Hmmm...I bought my copy before it came to Singapore. SGD$90 direct from US. Yeah, a bit expensive but hey, that means you'll end up staying at home and not going out! That may mean you may be saving money actually! Scary!

Hmmm...it's actually less than $50 per month.
