RE : Gaming
The other night I joined 6 fellas gaming. It's been quite awhile since I went to do something like this with real people realtime. Normally it's online. We went to E-Max @ Cineleisure and jammed a 2-hour session. The place was new and quite happening. We discovered there was a "Pay 1 hour get 1 hour" type of promo so 2 of the fellas went and got a big stack of pamphlets so we could qualify!We played Battlefield 2 and I am sure they enjoyed fragging me (especially Gavin)! Some people (including students) have expressed surprise when I tell them I game. However, the truth is, many guys that are around my age game. For myself, I started gaming when I was small and I remembered jamming on the first generation Apple and IBM machines. The screens had 1 colour. There weren't Windows and it's entirely DOS based. If you don't know what DOS means, well, that gives you an idea of how long was this ago. Even the first gen Atari console couldn't escape my attention! It's always been in my blood to game I guess.
I think they fellas will be arranging another session on Wednesday so I'm looking forward to it. I'm not going to give chance anymore! Yeah right.....
