Beginning
Well the school holidays are going to be officially over in about 15 mins. Monday marks the beginning of another new semester. This semester I will be teaching 2 subjects : Lodging Systems & Operations and Business Computing Skills. I've lined up a site visit to a new boutique hotel so that should be fun (Majestick Hotel). The owner has kindly agreed to let my students visit them so that should be exciting. Every week, I will attempt to introduce the students to a different and new hotel around the world to further fan their interest in hotels. Normally I do try to inject a new aspect or something exciting to the subjects I teach every semester. Hopefully they'll find it enjoyable. For BCS, we'll be visiting a different website or technology every week. I'm ready to start the new classes!
The new semester also welcomes a new batch of students coming from HQ. They'll be here for a year. As I am not teaching them this semester, my job of looking for volunteers will be a tad harder I guess. BUT, I know HTM students are helpful right? ;)
