So quiet...

This is the part of the year whereby the school goes all quiet. Most of my colleagues are away for a well deserved break. For the rest of us (e.g. me), we soldier on!

There is a common preception that the life of a lecturer is easy. "Just teaching what!". Unfortunately the reality is nothing like that. If you do not enjoy teaching and interacting with students (which is the minimum requirement in my opinion), then you will find it extremely tough to motivate yourself day in day out. This is the first job that I have held which I have not gone on MC since I started for more than a year and six months ago! :)
I miss the acitivities and life at school. Whilst it is great for us to catch up on our work, I prefer the life during normal semester. You guys/gals are always welcome to visit me and the other lecturers. We can catch up at RITS! Hahah....
Next semester is just around the corner and a new batch of students will be arriving. I wonder what they'll be like.

we all miss yall lecturers too many.. some of us are planning to visit TA next sem... maybe a surprise visit.. maybe.. a visit with a warning.. *whatever that means* maybe... one final celebration or a party in TA.. a party that celebrates the life and times of the first ever batch of TASers, one for both students and lecturers. you know... doing stupid things... u know.. make it big and huge.. after all.. a party with 300 odd students, "on an ideal situation where everyone magically happens to be free to join the party" will surely be a bang.. u know.. set up a giant tent, food, drinks (both.. socially and not socially accepted), music, live band( maybe finally i will get about setting up one, or at least for 1 night only). things like that u know.. speeches... by boss.. all bosses.. school's boss.. and our boss. u know... we can say our thanks and stuff.. a big party.. how cool lar.. k its gettin draggy..

Be forewarned. Hahahaha.

OMG, thanks Tian. The coolest and most handsome guy alive? *raise eyebrow* Well that would be ideal but in reality, it's probably not going to happen (the party part). But you never know with me around... :)

Lay Ling, I believe there are more local students this time around. I think if we do a few more rounds of orientation, everything will be like clockwork! :)
